Founder & Support Coordinator
Nate Bowman
Nate Bowman is an experienced NDIS Support Coordinator with a Diploma of Community Services and a strong background supporting people with complex support needs, psychosocial disability, intellectual disability, physical disability, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and community participation. As a proud First Nations man, Nate understands the importance of culturally safe, respectful and person-centred support.
He is passionate about helping people feel heard, empowered and connected to the services they need to achieve their goals. Throughout his career, Nate has supported participants to navigate the NDIS, access housing and accommodation supports, transition into Supported Independent Living, engage with rehabilitation services, connect with allied health providers, prepare for plan reviews, and build sustainable support networks that promote long-term independence and wellbeing.
Nate has extensive experience working alongside participants transitioning from hospitals, rehabilitation services, mental health services, and community-based supports. He understands the challenges that can arise during periods of change and works closely with participants, families, providers and professionals to ensure supports are coordinated effectively. Drawing on both professional experience and lived experience of adversity, Nate brings a genuine understanding of the challenges many individuals and families face. His approach is grounded in empathy, advocacy, clear communication and a commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes for every participant.
After years of supporting participants within established organizations, Nate founded Ivy & Co Support Coordination to provide a more personalised and responsive service. By maintaining a manageable caseload, Nate can dedicate the time and attention needed to provide quality support and strong advocacy for every participant he works alongside.
